After 3.0 made the walls too shy to actually do their job, 3.0.1 made them too aggressive and they actually prevented you from playing instead of just preventing you from moving (under certain conditions).
3.0.2 whips them back to order. I'll whip them more if they dare not do their job correctly again.

How do I get to the darkwoods? I beat the game to my knowledge, but cant find the new area.

the darkwoods is a post-game quest. You have to finish the main quest to unlock it
